Private Equity ESG Manager
CataCap is looking for a talented ESG professional to join our team as a full-time ESG Manager. You will be part of a dynamic and high- paced environment offering the opportunity to drive CataCap’s ESG agenda across our investment lifecycle, from due diligence and ownership to exit.
YOUR ROLE AT CATACAP
As ESG Manager, you will play a central role in developing, implementing, and maintaining our ESG strategy and practices across our funds and portfolio. You will work closely with our investment team, portfolio companies and their management teams, and external advisors. Your responsibilities will include:
▪ Supporting ESG due diligence in new investments
▪ Driving ESG improvement initiatives across our portfolio companies
▪ Monitoring ESG trends, risks and opportunities relevant to CataCap’s investment strategy and developing our internal practices and frameworks
▪ Leading and coordinating ESG reporting at fund and portfolio level, including scope 1-3, SFDR disclosures and UN PRI reporting
▪ Ensuring compliance with relevant ESG-related regulation and industry standards
▪ Supporting fundraising and investor dialogues, e.g. on ESG related matters, and other ad-hoc projects
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a proactive ESG professional with a strong interest in private equity and value creation in small and mid-cap companies. You are motivated by making a tangible impact. The ideal candidate:
▪ 1-3 years of relevant experience from consulting, financial services, private equity or similar, with a focus on ESG or sustainability (also experience from student positions)
▪ A degree within sustainability, finance, business, or similar
▪ Good understanding of ESG regulatory frameworks such as SFDR and UN PRI
▪ Strong communication and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail
▪ Fluent in both Danish and English (written and spoken)
▪ Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing multiple projects independently
